The below is a quick summary of the topics and questions raised by participants in the open call. Where “A:…” is the response from DAO Advocate..
Jojo
- The reports on STIP (GMX and Jojo) weren’t digestible because they’re too lengthy.
- A: The reports were meant as case studies to inform the direction of our research. We do not intend to have such reports for all protocols. Instead, the final deliverable will be one report that summarises the learnings from all protocols.
- The focus isn’t right because it doesn’t control for environment, other chains, or other protocols.
- A: We agree, and although nuanced to control for such things, we’ll see how we can adjust our current research.
- The point is to define the effectiveness of the program on the protocol. (E.g) the growth is 40% due to incentives, 60% to other factors
- Should we look into governance parameters (e.g. quorum, what should count towards it, etc)
- A: We will discuss this topic in our next ARDC sync and decide whether we’ll tackle it.
Rika
- Asked how she can request ARDC’s help and whether anyone can request:
Devansh
- Suggested we set up a Jokerace to accept submsission of requests and also allow people to express agreement.
Raam
- How does the ARDC analyze the various proposals and prioritize
- A: The DAO Advocate (L2BEAT + Ant Federation) ultimately decides and prioritizes what the ARDC will work on.
